go for this one Nahalem’s succesor,SANDY BRIDGE, is the codename for a processor microscopic architecture developed at the Israel Development Center by Intel in 2005. Its previous codename being “Gesher’ (meaning “Bridge” in hebrew), it targeted a process with the size of 32 nanometers. Their initial release date was on January 9 in the year 2011.
The first demonstration of an Intel Sandy Bridge processor was in 2009 at the Intel Developer Forum. The processor was an A1 weighing in at 2 ghz.
