HP ENVY 14 vs. Sony Viao F Series?

hey guys i am getting a new laptop and i was thinking which laptop is better. I need it for homework,surf the web, youtube, facebook, myspace,twitter, etc etc, stream hd movies and drama.Video editing, photoshop(editing photo's), music, download movies, maybe later on the future i need it for graphic designing and programming. must last at least 6 + years.And while at it, i will be multitasking such as homework(word, power point) surfing the internet ,facebook etc etc etc, msn, aim, and skype at the same time.(i don't want any lag) some of you guys may recommend me a mac but i prefer pc better thanks. here are the spec. For a laptop i recomend you to buy a dual core i5 and not quat core i7 it overheads a lot and reduce laptop麓s time of life, also give u more battery time. the Vaio F has overheating problems because it has 1 tinny fan while the HP envy 14 has 2 fans 1 for the CPU and 1 for the GPU. I like the 2 laptops design but teh Envy 14 doesn麓t have numeric keypad and if you use designing programs like autocad and excel you will need it. if u want and i7 go for the ASUS G53 Full HD 1920x1080 $1,500.

The radiance display (1600 x 900)of the Envy 14 was his best deal better than a Mac screem but they don麓t produce it anymore.battery life with i5 is up to 4 hours with i7 no idea but must be around 2.5 hours.
