Lately, I've been experiencing a bunch of fake virus protection updates, installed automatically from windows update. In order for me to actually get rid of the damn thing, I need to go into safe mode.
So i rebooted my laptop and I continuously hit my F8 key for the boot menu. Nothing happened. I hit all the other F keys. Nothing happens. Can anyone help me out here?Question about my HP Envy 14 Laptop?
1. Reboot, and repeatedly press F10 at the HP logo until the recovery screen appears.
2. When the recovery screen appears, press "Next" and then "Yes" to perform a non-destructive recovery (all data saved). After the recovery is finished, the laptop will reboot.
