I just got my Hp envy 14 in the mail....everything works, except the right speaker....I started working for about 2 days, and has quit again.....when I use headphones I get sound from both sides, so it appears to be a speaker problem.
I talked to customer support, and they told me to send it back, and they would send me a new one when they received this one.
I cannot do that though....College starts back monday, and I need it then.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.Right speaker not working on envy 14?
Your best option really is to send it back. Barring that, you can risk voiding your warranty and opening it up yourself to see if it's some sort of simple connector that's pulled off. Just download the Service and Maintenance Guide on HP's website.

You can borrow my Envy 14. lol jk
Yeah you really should send it back. It's a shame to have such a good laptop with awesome speakers with one broken. You could wait though, the Envy comes with a 1 year warranty.
