Looking for a good high speed laptop?

Preferably cheapish, and it has to look...not bad. I'm currently looking at the HP ENVY 14 Beats Edition, but I'm open to other suggestions. No apple. Main reason I'm looking at the ENVY Beats is because I want something that's good for songs and videos.Looking for a good high speed laptop?
This HP Envy 14 has a larger HDD and a slightly faster processor, the HDD is a lot slower (at 5400rpm instead of 7200rpm). This difference in HDD speed is worth going with the other laptop with a slightly smaller (640GB) but faster HDD and slightly slower processor.

But it has good Battery Life and performance is really Good
so which should I go with? It sounded a bit unclear
