HP Envy 14 (or the beats edition) or Macbook Pro 13"?

Hi guys, I need your opinions. I am a multimedia arts student and I need a laptop which would help me with my course. I have a desktop computer that has a high specs, but I want a laptop too so I can do my stuff at school while I'm having my vacant time.

So my choices are HP Envy 14 (beats edition would be okay) and the Macbook Pro 13" that every student wants to have. I've read some reviews already, but I can't still decide. No bias please, I need your opinions and please tell me which has the best specs and etc. Thank you.HP Envy 14 (or the beats edition) or Macbook Pro 13"?
Macbook Pro is most popular and has best features. I have read the reviews as well and so I recommend you to go for Macbook Pro 13.

Go for Macbook Pro. It is so light to carry anywhere and having good user friendly Operating System. It is more durable and reliable as compared to other laptops. Mac Pro is best for college use.Read this opinion from an actual user, and you'll know why I recommend this laptop

I would go with the HP Envy it has so much more Hard drive space are more compatitible with so many more programs and you get more bang for your buck also having top of the line speakers in your laptop is always great especially when it is cheaper for the macbook pro
They are both excellent computers. I would suggest the HP if you want to spend less and the Macbook pro if you want a longer lasting computer.
HP Envy is the best one. Its not about any brand thing but look at the specs. One of my old friends is also in multimedia and he is using Macbook but that is really not doing things for him. Compare these specs:

HP Evny:

Processor 2.66GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.93GHz

750GB HDD

up to 2714MB total graphics memory

14.5" Display

Audio visual at the best

Backlight technology

Digi media reader

and so on ...

and for Mac

Processor 2.3GHz

320GB HDD

3.3" Display

So why spend more money and get lesser. If you want more than you can read here;

P.S. I liked HP casing more than Mac probook. Its keyboard is more comfortable too.
