Dell xps 15, envy 14 or lenovo thinkpad?

i am a student about to go to college and am looking for a good laptop. Feel free to suggest any others. Price%26lt;1300 $.Dell xps 15, envy 14 or lenovo thinkpad?
-Basically, if you aren't going to do 3D gaming, I'd get the Thinkpad. Out of all of them, the Thinkpads are the most durable, functional, and have the best keyboards, along with a matte screen which is good if you use your laptop outdoors. They have a reputation for being extremely sturdy and being very reliable. However, since they're meant mainly for use as business and school laptops, they generally don't come with decent graphics cards and won't do well in 3D gaming (unless you opt for an expensive W-series model). Also, Thinkpads don't have very good screens in terms of viewing angles or colors, so that might be an issue if you do photo editing.

-The other two have much more powerful graphics cards, but durability and ergonomics aren't as good as the Thinkpads. If you game, they're of interest. Also, the XPS 15 with the 1080p screen is the best for graphics work as it has the best quality screen out of the three.
Well, the question you're asking is kind of vague, as you can configure these computers, which gives them different price ranges... Anyway, out of all these three I would go with:

-Thinkpad if you want to use it for writing and/or working only

-XPS if you mostly want to use it for entertainment (video/music editing, gaming, etc...) Also the xps can go up to quite high configs if you're ready to invest a tiny bit more

Hope this helped and good luck ;)Dell xps 15, envy 14 or lenovo thinkpad?
