HP envy 14 beats edition i5 or i7 processor?

I am thinking about buying this laptop for general purposes like college work, some basic programming, and two games "heroes of newerth" and "league of legends". They are not very heavy games but they do require some specifications to run smoothly. This laptop will have a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5650 video card. It will also have 4 GB of ram. Should I upgrade the default i5 processor to an i7 for 200 dollars more? Or will the i5 be good enough for what I will be using this laptop for?HP envy 14 beats edition i5 or i7 processor?
Basic programing, college work, and basic most games will run perfectly fine on a i5 i see no reason to upgrade to a i7. Unless your planning on running 30 programs get a i7 almost all games made dont use more then 4 processing cores so a i7 would be useless and honestly $200 that money can be used for something better
if you do gaming on that laptop then pay $200 more an get core i7 but if you just browse web an stuff then stick with core i5 but if it was me then i would just get the core i7. also if you don't have any other computer in your house then just get it with core i7.

BUT THEN WAIT UNTIL NEXT MONTH BECAUSE THERE ARE GOING TO BE NEW PROCESSORS (im not trying to shout at you by the way)HP envy 14 beats edition i5 or i7 processor?
i5 will be fine thats what i have and it can easily handle school stuff aswell as a few more hardware demanding games then the two you have listed
The i5 is all anyone really needs. The i7 isn't worth the 200 bucks.
