So I got this laptop for christmas and i was so excited because ive been wanting a webcam on a lap top.. but then i opened it and where the webcam is supposed to be there is a black cover over it.. but i can see the circle where the cam is supposed to be.. I'm just trying to figure it out.. help!HP Envy 14 webcam has a black covering over it! How do i get it off!!?
That's normal. It's part of the glossy display. DO NOT attempt remove it or else you'll rip off the glossy layer.
