just check out the specs the i3 -370m at 2.4ghz. is the one you are try to get at low settings
you should be able to play it with little or no lagging, now the i5-540m with the intel tubro boost technology at a est.cost of $1290 you can play it at high settings, that is a intense game i play a little bit of it with my nephew on his alienware mx17{ his dad is a big time corperate exe.}even with that ati 5650 card for that hp laptop i would keep it updated and the latest directx as well,i think the best answer will come from someone who owns a hp envy 14 and played the game with that i3 processor, also it comes with a i7 processor
i'm sorry but every time you turn around another pc is on the market that is why sometimes i have to back check on info about it,good luck and stay in touch with y/a

Is this computer fast enough for starcraft?star-craft .war-craft is low graphics game
just a simple graphics card can help you play .don't need much processor or ram .
try to play pro-streets then you will know what it needs to play games
1000 dolllar laptop should have the power to play games .though laptops are not build for gaming except few dedicated one
Yes you can play it with 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5650. But I still think you should shop around for a better price and comparable system.
Yes it will because it has a class 2 graphics card "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650"
I have an Alienware M15x with the ATI 5850 card which runs this game maxed out, so you should get this to play fairly well.
I dont think it will handle the graphics very well.
The processor and memory etc should all be fine, but the graphics are it's let down and this is the case with most laptops.
do NEVER buy laptops if your gonna/wanna play games NEVER EVER.
