Hey, basically I am looking for a laptop for university and since after finding out that the HP Envy 14 comes out in August my choices are narrowed down to the HP Envy 14-1050ea and the Acer Timeline X 4820T Core i5 Laptop.
The screen size and weight between them doesn't matter too much to me, I am just looking for a laptop that will be fast and for when I get some free time will be able to play games well. So since I know very little about laptop specs I just want to know which will be better.

Acer is a terrible brand. Avoid them at all costs.
That HP envy looks really good and it will be perfect for gaming.Which laptop should I get for uni?
I've always liked HPs, but for this time I would go for the Acer laptop; having the same video capabilities,hard drive size, etc you'll like the extra juice you can get from the Acer Timeline unit, and you know most games are power consuming apps.
Sorry HP people but this time I'd go for the Acer unit.
