Is 1366x768 screen resolution good for gaming?

Im getting the hp envy 14. But im wondering is 1366x768 good enough for gaming? on a 14 inch screen?Is 1366x768 screen resolution good for gaming?
Is it good enough for gaming? It's good enough for me, I don't know about you. It's not going to give you stunning blu-ray quality for movies, but for games it is fine.



One important factor you need to consider is that games become increasingly more demanding the higher you make the resolution, so playing a game at 1366x768 will run more smoothly than at, say 1920x1200. On a 14 inch screen it's not going to look bad. It will still look crisp and clear, especially if that's the native resolution.
1366x768 isn't a very common resolution, and you'll find most games won't have it, so you will need to choose another, and it might look a little funny. As well as this, it's a very low resolution, which I guess is both good and bad- you should get good performance, but it doesn't look too flash either.Is 1366x768 screen resolution good for gaming?
